The barge Soleo sails boat and bike tours in the Provence France

This barge, former La Fayette, was built in 1958 and converted into a passenger boat in 1988. The last renovation, dated 2009, brought its level to the today's comfort standards. SInce 2011 it has been navigating under the name Soleo.

The ship has 12 cabins (4 doubles, 6 twins and 2 single cabins) of 7/8 s.q.m.. Each cabin has three portholes (one is in the bathroom), is air-conditioned and has got en-suite facilities. Each of them has also enough closet space, a hair dryer, a plug, paper tissues, shower gel/shampoo, towels and full-length mirror.

The air-conditioned living room is very comfortable. It includes a dining area with seating capacity for 22 guests and a salon area with an open bar and a square staircase next to the bar. A total of 10 windows give plenty of natural light. Stereo-system, I-Pod docking station, books, CD's and internet access are also available. There is also a sun deck.

Biking and sailing in France

Among the wilderness of Camargue and the landscapes that were so dear to Van Gogh you will cycle through delicious Provencal villages, vineyards and lavender. Highlights of this tour are the cities Avignon and Arles.

The barge is sailing over the Rhone and the side canals and accompanies you through this beautiful area.
